It's springtime and I'm feeling great and somewhat apathetic.  The good weather definitely makes me more cheerful.  Last week, I planted some flowers in pots and set them in the window so that they will grow.  Hopefully they do better than last year.  Last year was bad because the flowers only grew a few inches and looked rather pathetic.  This year, I chose a couple different types of flowers.  Last year it was impatens, this year I'm not sure what flowers I picked.

Writing about flowers on a blog seems ridiculous because... well just because.  Right now writing about anything seems ridiculous because I'm not very motivated to actually think about anything worthwhile to write.  I'm even less motivated to write because I'm afraid that people from Russia will read this blog and try to steal my identity.  Russians, please tell I'm wrong about this.

This is going to be a stream-of-consciousness type of blog.  I'm just going to write what comes to my mind without too much editing.  I guess there will be some filtering because the world probably shouldn't know every thought that passes through someone's mind.  That's a scary thought.

Good Friday 2014

Good afternoon.  I've decided to try blogging again.  Writing for me has been an on/off thing for most of my life.  Lately it's been off.  It's time to start writing again.  I've too much bottled up thoughts that need to be told and stories that should be shared.  I'm going to start small though.  A few posts every week should suffice.

Last Sunday I went to a local park with my girlfriend and hiked for about four miles.  It was good to get out of the house after this crazy winter.  This winter won't let go.  On Wednesday I woke up to about an inch of snow outside my house.

Back to the subject of blogging.  I was looking at my stats for the last couple years on this blog and noticed a decent amount of traffic from Eastern Europe and Russia.  What is up with that?  Where is it coming from and why do Russians want to read my blog?
